From NPR: Fit Seniors Can Have Hearts that are 30 years younger

We knew this already (why Fitsys is working here) but NPR recently highlighted a study at the Human Performance Laboratory at Ball State University,in Muncie Indiana, headed by exercise physiologist Scott Trappe. Trappe is among the first to study the enticing new population of lifelong exercisers.

While this focus is on seniors who have continually exercised in their past, our findings are that starting or restarting exercise can bring one back to improved performance and subsequent maintenance of a fitter and confident self, wherever the journey of improved fitness begins.
